In Canada, consulting firm Kinetic Café announces a strategic partnership with fast food chain Freshii. Together, the team will launch a Toronto-based health accelerator focused on bringing innovative technology startups with a focus on health, fitness, or healthy food to market.

Kinetic Café is a consulting firm working with startups and innovative enterprises to design and execute market entries and exits. Freshii is a fast food restaurant chain with plans of disrupting the fast food industry by offering fresh, healthy meals through a fast food business model.

The new accelerator is called Fresh Startups, and it is accepting applications for its inaugural class until October 4. The accelerator differentiates itself by accepting only 4-5 startups, and walking through every step of the business development process hand-in-hand with the founders. Kinetic Café will bring business development consulting and mentorship, while Freshii will open up access to its infrastructure, where startups will be able to pilot and refine products.

Startups participating in the six-month program will receive $25,000 in cash in addition to mentorship and office space.
