One Medical Group, a San Francisco-based medical practice which aims to leverage the full potential of technology to deliver concierge-style medicine raises $30 million in a Series F round led by Google Ventures, bringing their total amount raised to $77 million.

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Tom Lee, One Medical Group operates with a mission of bringing concierge-style medicine to the masses. Same day visits, online appointment booking, and email exchange with doctors are just a few of the relatively straightforward offerings that One Medical Group hopes will differentiate it form the competition.

By leveraging the latest technology, One Medical Group has reduced the the administrative support needed from 4 people to 1.5 per office, freeing up the capital needed to allow physicians to spend a little more time with each patient.

The company operates offices in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Washington, DC and Chicago. While it does accept most major insurance, the practice bills a $150 to $200 annual membership fee per patient.

The funding will be used to explore new markets, and build relationships with employers and health plans.
