Neurotrack, a Rock Health graduate and the healthcare winner of the 2013 SXSW startup competition, raises $90,000 in seed funding, according to a recent Form D filing.

The startup is built on 25 years of research on early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. Its product assists in early Alzheimer’s detection through a computer-based tests that can detect impairment of the hippocampus, the first area of the brain to be impacted by the disease.

All of the 92 participants who scored below the 50 percent mark on the test received a positive diagnosis within six years. None of those who scored above 67 were eventually diagnosed.

The company is not generating revenue and will spend some time fleshing out its go-to-market strategy while it works to raise additional funds.
